For those of you 12 year old brats who don't understand the problem with that word being an issue you need to stop defending those who say it, and start a trend where the N word is never ok
Shaked Trbl - 2017-09-22
Doesnt matter . U said it. Your obviously think that if your weren't on live, no on will know and no one will talk about it. The fact that u said it in a way which is so offensive wont be forgotten.

It’s 2017, people are gonna get offended about everything. Felix, I truly believe you didn’t do anything wrong. The media today is FULL of the N word, it’s not like we haven’t heard it before. People get offended so easily, and it’s easy to target you because you are so popular. “OMG FELIX USED THE N WORD MUST CRY AND COMPLAIN”. No, no one complains when famous singers/rappers do it. I’m sure they appreciate you apologizing, but it all honesty, I don’t see the problem.
amet buddy - 2017-09-22
Honestly most genuine apology on YouTube. I could feel how sincere he was compared to other youtubers. Its short and to the point. Not a whole 20 minute video where they just try to get people to feel sad for them. Honestly don't think he used the word in any offensive way, its everywhere these days, so much so that its original meaning is forgotten as evident in that livestream. It was in no way out of malice.

How many people were ACTUALLY offended when he said this? Like, actually oppressed, got hurt, directly because he said nigga? most likely no one, but im super glad he showed enough maturity & respect to apologize. It sucks that people will still go out of their way to make pewds look like a racist or some huge cunt yk
Mike Huyck - 2017-09-22
Definitely disappointed and it was disrespectful and disgusting. I think he is genuinely sorry. But if you guys are mad a pewds how are you not more upset at guys like keemstar. That dude is a straight ahole and does not care for people at all.
Man Yawns - 2017-09-22
This is weak and pathetic and I always knew you were. But this is proof that you have nothing about you that is solid. You are a weakling. Now go laugh it off because you can't face reality and lack truth's virtue entirely.
Irene Chin - 2017-09-22
Ppl always make mistake and we learn from it,there's no big deal,it's not like is a big sin
So don't be disappoint for yourself,we'll always love you and your videos of course

All the comments are justifying his actions and brushing it off, and that is so wrong. That is the OPPOSITE of the response that we, his supporters, should be having.
He really messed up big time, and this is not the first time. This opens the possibility of him saying things like what he said -- racist, or at least INCREDIBLY insensitive remarks -- comfortably and regularly off-screen. None of us viewers know who he genuinely is, and if he wants to come across as (prove he is) not a racist, he needs to ELIMINATE this behavior and comments like this, as he's used the n-word before. ELIMINATE demographic-shaming humor, REGARDLESS OF INTENT. To commenters, do not reply to this comment shutting me down or sympathizing with him because he used the word in our entire vocabulary that is MOST ALIGNED with EXTREME RACISM. Do not take this lightly or tell me I am "overreacting." Just because one person commenting isn't personally affected by a racist comment doesn't mean they still can't protest this behavior for the sake of those that are.
His response to this has been appropriate and extremely responsible of him to put out, but it's not promising. I don't trust how good of a person I thought he was, or his integrity. I don't trust his consistency, between on and off screen. I want to still like Pewdiepie, and a part of me genuinely thinks he's still a beyond amazing youtuber who is hilarious and wonderfully, harmlessly immature for the sake of humor and happiness YET maintains maturity and respect towards significant issues -- like race, for one. I want to believe that he just screwed up but it'll never happen again because he's learned. But from his history (of n-word usage), I'm not sure he will. I want to see what happens in the future and I really hope he stops messing up because he has begun to normalize this behavior, HURT people, and come across as an extreme racist. I also hope he takes more actions addressing and openly admitting the wrongness of his past behavior.
Don't trivialize this issue or his actions, people in the comments.
Please, felix, take this issue a million times more seriously than you ever have.

Pewdiepie is enabling professional totalitarian ideologues and bullies that target anyone that isn't a proselytizing progressive. After everything these ideologues have done to so many innocent people and the damage they have inflicted on the gaming industry no one with full knowledge of these actions should ever under any circumstance apologize to them. Based on inside knowledge I know Pewdiepie knows who these people are, what they're after and what must done to remove their corrosive presence. Pewdiepie is doing the exact opposite of what's required in this situation and handing power to ideologues to buffer their calls for censorship in the medium.

Honestly I'm black and I know most people see that as a bad word and in all honesty you people are being extremely childish because at the end of the day it's a freaking word that has been made up by us humans and now when someone of the other race says it it's now a big thing and terrible thing to say which I'm not saying it's not but I just think people need to calm the hell down it's really up to you to decide whether or not you take offense from it I'm not saying your wrong at being mad at PewDiePie but seriously the dude honestly didn't mean it he was playing a freaking game it slipped out oh well that's life. We are freaking humans we are going to make mistakes from time to time no one is perfect let people be who they want to be and I'm not saying that PewDiePie wants to be able to say that word whenever he pleases but at the same time if he says it so what? People can be who they want there is no rule book saying a race other than black (and whatever race you think should be able to say the N word) should not be able to say the N word. People it's a damn word It's not going to ruin your life it's going to kill you it's not going to take all your money it won't do anything to other than the fact that you can't handle it yourself and decide to turn it into a big thing. But to sum it all up THIS IS FREAKING 2017 WHAT DO YOU EXPECT!!!!

Being Black this hurts. You disrespected our culture. And if you would've been G about it because you can tell you use it in your daily vocabulary then it would've been okay. You make other YouTubers look bad because you make mistakes like this. All other YouTubers might not disrespect each other's by calling them that but being the face of YouTube you can slip up like this. If you haven't walked in a black man shoes or been profiled for the color of your skin you shouldn't use the word. And I don't use it much now because the past and what happened before this. Just sad
RandomThoughts - 2017-09-22
He does sounds sincere although you really can't tell.
With respec to his explanation, I think he was trying to say that it's said a lot by peole and sometimes you get caught in the moment and repeat what other people say because it's sort of brainwashed into you. So many African Americans use the word. Either ouside on the streets, in the media, in movies, etc. It doesn't make it right but young kids admire African American toughness and blurt things out "n-word" to copy them.
Perhaps, we should have African Americans stop saying it as well because white people copy their music, culture and toughness and blurt it out in the heat of the moment like African Americans do.

Y’all on some other shit swear to god bro, y’all been bitching over this for way too long now, y’all found someone that said Nigga over the internet, well congratulations... but still there is millions of kids use it over the internet, just because he said Nigga doesn’t mean that slavery is coming back, and you can simply give him a middle finger and ignore him coz of his ignorance, shit... I’m Arabic and I’ve been called terrorist countless times, and when ever someone tells me that I just tellem that his mom said my dick was the bomb

So why is this any different than when blacks say it to each other, or when blacks say it to whites, or when blacks say it refering to an animal. Both Aggressively and jokingly. If its so damn "offensive" then why is it every other word out of your mouth. Grow up, pull your thumb out of your mouth and stop taking life so seriously. Or you'll spend the rest of it being triggered af
